Wash and cut the potatoes. Cook in a pot of lightly salted water for about 25 minutes. Strain and return to the pot.
Add butter and dill and wait until the butter melts. Stir everything together so that all potatoes are covered with butter and dill.
Heat up the heavy cream with half of the scallions and cook until bubbly and reduced in half. Add the dill potatoes and mix together.
Sprinkle with the rest of the scallions. Adjust the seasoning and serve immediately.
