AUTHENTIC POLISH PIEROGI WITH POTATOES & CHEESE

Have you ever tried real, authentic Polish pierogi? These Authentic Polish Pierogi with Potatoes and Cheese (Pierogi Ruskie) are the real deal.  Traditional on Christmas eve, but wonderful anytime of year!

Ingredients

Potatoes | Farmer Cheese  Blue Cheese | Cheddar Garlic Powder | Onion Powder Oil | Salt & Pepper | Flour Butter | Onion | Milk Bacon | Sour Cream

Boil the potatoes & mash. Fry onions until brown. Add farmer cheese to potatoes, along with onions, spices and other cheeses.

To make the dough, pour flour on counter, add salt, make a hole. Add milk and butter. Add water a little at a time until a dough forms. Cover and let rise 20-30min.

Roll the dough thin and cut into circles. Place some filling into each one.  Fold in half and seal.

Bring water to a boil, add pierogi and cook for 1 minute.  If desired, fry in oil. Top with bacon & sour cream.
